VGD Program: The largest social safety program of the Government of Bangladesh (Safety net program) for the development and sustainability of destitute and helpless and physically able women, women receive 30 kg of food grains and training every month for two years or 24 months. The total number of VGD beneficiaries is about 750,000. The number of beneficiaries in Nandail upazila is 26.

 

Maternity Allowance Program for Poor Mothers: Maternity Allowance Program is being conducted for “Poor Mothers” to reduce poverty and infant mortality rate, increase breastfeeding rate, increase nutritional intake during pregnancy. The number of beneficiaries in Nandail upazila is 1893.

 

Lactating Mother Support Program: Improving the overall quality of life through the social safety net for poor working lactating mothers and their children in urban and municipal areas and providing Rs. 600 / - per month for 03 (three) years to poor working mothers Being. The numbe#r of lactating mother beneficiaries in Nandail municipality is 475.

 

Micro-credit activities for women's self-employment: Micro-credit is provided for the purpose of creating self-employment through the involvement of poor and poor women with vocational training in productive activities.

 

Registration, Regulation and Distribution of Grants of Voluntary Women's Associations: Annual grants are provided including registration and supervision of voluntary women's organizations.

 
Income generating training for poor low educated unemployed women (Upazila level): Vocational training is imparted in various trades based on local demand through WTC or Women's Training Center for self-employment of rural destitute women.
IGA Training Project: Fashion design and food processing training is provided at the upazila level for self-employment of poor and unemployed women.

 
Organizing clubs to empower adolescents for positive change in society: Adolescents run clubs to empower adolescents as active agents of social change in a supportive environment of family and society. Awareness raising activities are underway to prevent child marriage and sexual harassment. There are 13 youth clubs in Nandail upazila.
